My name is Rena Mills-Little and I am a high school language arts teacher in North New Jersey. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in an attempt to advance my own education and learn different ways of incorporating new and exciting technology into my classroom. Any suggestions are welcome!
Hey Rena,
ReplyDeleteThere are a number of things that you can use a blog for in your classroom. Many of these ideas generally come from your currulum and what it is that you want your students to learn. You can use the blog to keep the students updated with assignments and activities that they should be working on. You can also use the blog as a follow up to a book or a story that they had to read. As part of their assignment, they have to blog about what the book meant to them or what they would have changed about the story. These types of activities allows the students to get involved and be heard. When creating your blog for your students, have an idea in mind about what you want the students to get out of it. With this, you can not go wrong.
